Vicarage House is a new Learning Disability Residential School for 4 children with a staff team who have experience supporting young people and children with learning disabilities and are committed to their own ongoing development. The school has capacity for a further 4 children to be educated on the school premises.
A lot of emphasis is put on the children having fun and enjoying life to the maximum with activities planned around their likes and interests. We also pride ourselves in working closely with the team around the child and welcome new ideas and involvement.
We take pride in the appearance of our homes, and ensure all of them are decorated to a standard that we would be happy for our own families to live in.
Children’s voices are heard and respected, we always ensure they feel empowered to make decisions in the running of the home where appropriate.
We work hard to ensure that children are happy and comfortable in their home, and that it is treated as exactly that, a home, not a unit.
