Your tasks will be
Teach independence
Using life skills, you will assist with the care of our children and young people, including practical aspects such as cooking and cleaning.
Make a difference
You will be committed to making a difference, supporting children and ensuring their education is supported.
Build relationships
You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
Give Structure
Consistency and organisation skills are key. You will create timetables, setting boundaries and expectations for the young people.
Support Behaviour
You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
Support Staff
Supporting residential workers with staff supervisions, leading shifts, ensuring placement plans are followed, policies, procedures, risk assessments and rotas
We need you to have
Driving License
You must be aged 22 or older
Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People
At least 3 years experience within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people
