The team at L House have kicked started their version of Bake Off with an impressive first round filled with spooky (and spectacular) Halloween creations. Cupcakes were the order of the day, and the creative skills show are very impressive: there were Oreo spiders, mini ghosts and many a googly eye!
Phoebe came out victorious in this first round, with everyone in the home getting involved in the voting (and of course, the eating!). The event has so far been a brilliant way to further build team relations, boost morale and bring the home as a whole closer together. Needless to say, the young people in particular have thoroughly enjoyed the taste testing, and the series will offer a lovely chance to provide them with examples of teamwork, positive competition and camaraderie amongst the adults.
The second round will take place on 31st October, and we can’t wait to see what the team creates next!
